East Bistro - Hong Kong Dim Sum @ Sembawang

On a Sunday morning in North of Singapore, I asked Foursquare for suggestions on what to eat for brunch, and I stumbled upon this shop called East Bistro. Doing a few google searches led me to some good reviews of this place, so I decided to give it a try.

Hidden at a corner opposite Sembawang shopping centre is an unassuming restaurant serving piping hot dim sum Hong Kong style. Most of the staff here speak cantonese and the dishes they serve range from the traditional siew mai, har gao and cheong fun to zi char if you are looking for a more heavy meal.

Prices were not very cheap, but environment was quite comfortable. They will make you share a big table with strangers if there are insufficient tables. Staff and service were good, something different from typical restaurant waiters in Hong Kong.

If you are craving for some good ol' dim sum and you live nearby, it's worth giving this place a try. It's not mind blowing enough to make me crave another visit though.
