Sō Ramen Singapore (Nex mall) review
Being a Serangoonian regularly passing through Nex mall, I noticed this new Ramen store at Exit G of the MRT (opposite OCBC Bank). Being a fan of tonkotsu soup, I decided to give this try.
I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu and oh myyy.. it was so satisfying!!! It comes with minced meat on top which is exactly the way I like it. We also ordered the original Tonkotsu which came with an Onsen egg. Side orders were grilled chicken salad and gyoza which both were decent too.
The ramen broth was concentrated, rich in flavour and I finished the soup til the last drop. I had a craving since watching a YouTube video on Ichiran in Japan. How I wished they open an outlet in Singapore.. but for me, this managed to satisfy my cravings!
Price: 8/10 (typical ramen price, around $15 per person)
Service: 6/10 (a little on the slow side but was overall fine)
Food: 9/10 (will come back again for sure)
