$138 cashback! Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback credit card

OK, I know people who like to sign up for credit cards if they offer attractive welcome gifts like Samsonite trolley luggage and so on. Recently Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) is heavily promoting their new Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card.

The benefit? 1.5% unlimited cashback on all spend. This is great if you have huge spending each month which goes beyond $5.3k for example and other credit cards which limit cashback to $80 (like OCBC 365 for example)

Personally this card doesn't suit me lah, cos I don't have that much funds to spend each month BUT for now they are offering a welcome gift of either $138 cashback or $150 Uber/Caltex credits without any minimum spending (unlike Citibank) and all those terms and conditions.

So the inner lobang queen in me very kiasu, must sign up! Now waiting for it to be approved.. Plus, if you don't have a Mastercard yet, this is a good chance to get one as sometimes promotions are for Mastercard instead of Visa..
