Changi T4 Open House

As you may have heard, Changi will be opening a brand spanking new airport terminal.. and it's called Terminal 4! It will be serving airlines like Airasia, Korean Air, Vietnam Air, Cathay Pacific, Cebu Pacific and Spring Airlines. Please take note if you are going to take any of these airlines end of 2017!

It's expected to be open for public later this year, but I was too excited and wanted a sneak preview of this shiny new terminal. So I signed up for the open house event, obviously I was there hoping to get some freebies.

We arrived at T3 and a free shuttle bus was provided to bring us over to the new T4, and this trip took about 5 minutes. I have no idea whether there will be a Skytrain connecting T4 with other terminals. But it felt a little far compared to T1 and T2 if you ask me.

What impressed me was the huge screen display (called the Immersive Wall) at the luggage scanning area, showing landscape scenery of Asia.. the images were so realistic, with brilliant colours.

Another bonus point would be the huge amount of seats available around the airport. They have so many different variety of chairs looking fancy/artistic that its a work of art in itself.

And then over at the Heritage Facade, you get to enjoy a video on the wall which again looks pretty realistic and entertaining.
